Ingredients

  • 3 grams (1- 2 tablespoon) of loose tea or 2 tea bags
  • 250 ml of water
  • 1- 2 tbs Organic Cherry Juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional)

Optional Sweeteners (per 250 ml)

  • Pure Unpasteurized Honey: 1-2 teaspoons.
  • Pure Organic Stevia: 0.5 ml
  • Pure Organic Cane Sugar: 1-2 tablespoons

Instructions

Step 1: Brew the Tea

  1. Begin by bringing the water to a boil.
  2. Remove the water from heat and allow it to cool for about 2-3 minutes, until it reaches a temperature of 85 – 90 degrees Celsius.
  3. If using loose tea, place it in a cheesecloth or a tea infuser. Alternatively, you can directly add the leaves to the water and strain later.
  4. For tea bags, simply add them to the water.

Step 2: Steep the Tea

  1. Let the tea steep for as long as possible, even while it cools.
  2. Allow the tea leaves to leach completely, until the rose petals take on a delicate pinkish-white hue.

Step 3: Remove Tea Bags or Loose Tea

  1. Once the tea has cooled to room temperature, remove the tea bags or strain the loose tea.
  2. Ensure that the tea leaves are fully leached and the color has dissolved, indicated by the pinkish-white rose petals.

Step 4: Add the Cherry Juice

  1. Gently stir in Organic Cherry Juice.

Step 5: Chill and Serve

  1. Refrigerate the tea for at least an hour, or until thoroughly chilled.
  2. When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice cubes.
  3. Pour the chilled Tea over the ice.

Step 6: Garnish and Enjoy

  1. Enhance the visual appeal by adding lemon slices to each glass.
  2. For an extra touch of freshness, garnish with a few sprigs of fresh mint.

Optional Sweetening

  1. If desired, sweeten your tea with your choice of sweetener:
    • Pure Unpasteurized Honey: Add 1-2 teaspoons while the tea is steeping and the water is still hot.
    • Pure Organic Stevia: Add 0.5 ml per 250 ml.
    • Pure Organic Cane Sugar: Add 1-2 tablespoons per 250 ml.

Cheers to the art of tea and the pleasure it brings to our senses!
